Practicing meditation giving Time for You ^ Pranic Awareness

I guess I am on blog catch up, as there are other holistic practises that held the space offering Time for You that have since given ethos to my practise during and since the co-vid era.

I met Master Stephen Co on You Tube, a meditational practise offering consistency of aim and effort on a weekly basis, absolutely timely I thought and subscribed, a bit delayed in sharing this on my Time for You Blog, there have been posts on the Time for You fb Page. :)(:

2 years on i am still holding court to both Master Co and Anchor the light meditations for my spiritual development and awareness and after meeting Master Co and some of his fellow Pranic therapists I have since completed my level one Pranik healing course,

I recommend this especially to reiki practitioners, its next level, and it is an awesome practise that I feel more knowledge can only enhance any holistic practise, yes, awareness is quay.

so far so good, so much so i would like to introduce this here.

Master Co https://www.masterco.org/

as Master Co paid a visit to the UK in September of this year, i decided to go to one of the live seminars, I met pyranic therapists at the event, and was invited to do the level one pranic healing course, which i can happily say i have now completed.

as a reiki practitioner it enhances the practise and introduces skills vital to self-healing and self-protection during distance healing for others, it also enhanced my awareness of the magical workings of the unseen masters and guides to which i owe my gratitude in full.

what is pranic healing

Joyfully I have since learnt that there is a pranic healing clinic here in Bristol and an opportunity to progress in this field of awareness through practise, discipline and meditations.

I recommend meditation with Master CO

Aloe vera is a rich source of antioxidants and vitamins that may help protect your skin. The important compounds in aloe vera have also been shown to neutralize the effects of ultraviolet (UV) radiation, repair your skin from existing UV damage, and help prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

CBD isolate demonstrates several benefits, including relief from paininflammation, and anxiety.

black seed oil has been shown to reduce inflammation and the presence of bacteria to aid in wound healing.

High in antioxidants, Black Pepper Oil fights the free radicals that can harm your skin and cause signs of premature ageing, to leave your skin looking more youthful.

Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids, which is why it's often touted for its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. Cocoa butter is also rich in natural plant compounds called phytochemicals.
Reduces inflammation. Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for irritated, chafed skin. Increases collagen production.
Keep reading to learn more about how rosehip oil can benefit your skin, and how to add it to your skincare routine.
  • It hydrates. ...
  • It moisturizes. ...
  • It helps exfoliate and helps brightens skin. ...
  • It helps boost collagen formation. ...
  • It helps reduce inflammation. ...
  • It helps protect against sun damage. ...
  • It helps reduce hyperpigmentation.

Known for its healing properties, "cannabidiol offers some serious antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits which can be beneficial in treating skin concerns like inflammation, dryness and free radical damage," says Ildi Pekar, NYC-based aesthetician and founder of her own eponymous skincare line.

As well as cleansing the skinaqueous cream also helps moisturise it by providing an oil layer on the skin surface, trapping water underneath and preventing water evaporating from the surface. This retains moisture and reduces dryness.
Time for You to mix and blend creams with essential oils and voila,Time for You holistic healthcare, skin deep <3

Weeds of Wisdom

As our future changes and medicine becomes less accessible, less trustworthy and more expensive we begin to look at the importance of our natural environment. Using pesticides on our weeds may not be the way forward as our weeds can host an abundance of healing properties which may lead eventually to our salvation.

so when looking at planting out this year : Time for you practitioners look at what we are ignoring when we pull up our weeds or use weed killer on our dandelions, mares tail, horsetail, wild garlic, wild strawberry, chickweed, feverfew, yarrow, mullein, nettles, borage, comfrey, verbena, poppies, elderberries, clover, thistle, goldenrod, ground ivy, horse nettle, milk weed, wild mustard, burdock, motherwort , aster, dock, shepards purse, St Jowort, mallow, daisy to name a few!

what attracts the bees is always worth a look, we begin our journey with more about  Mullein

Mullein (Verbascum Thapsus) Also known as Great Mullein, White Mullein, Torches, Mullein Dock, Our Lady’s Flannel, Velvet Dock, Blanket Herb, Velvet Plant, Woollen, Rag Paper, Candlewick Plant, Wild Ice Leaf, Aaron’s rod, velvet dock, Clown’s Lungwort, Bullock’s Lungwort, Jupiter’s Staff, Jacob’s Staff, Peter’s Staff, Shepherd’s Staff, Shepherd’s Clubs, Beggar’s Stalk, donkey’s ears, bunny ears, Golden Rod, Adam’s Flannel, Beggar’s Blanket, Clot, Cudd’s Lungs, Duffle, Feltwort, Fluffweed, Hare’s Beard, Old Man’s Flannel, Hag's Taper

Habitat
Found all over UK and Ireland except for the far north of Scotland. Found on hedge banks, by roadsides and on waste ground, more especially on gravel, sand or chalk. Flowers during July and August.

Use root, leaves and flowers

Harvesting

Leaves are best picked before the plant sends up its flower spike. Dr the leaves whole and then crumble them for storage.
The flowers are quite soft, so pick them carefully to avoid bruising. Spread in a single layer on a sheet of paper or a mesh screen to dry.

Smoking Herb
No known risks As a smoking herb: Mullein is a respiratory medicine and so smoking the dried leaves is one way to bring that medicine directly into the lungs. You could for more recreational use, blend as a soft, cooling, airy base for herbal smoking mixtures. It is very mildly sedating. Combined with lemon balm and Russian sage, mullein is great in many combinations.

Mullein tea
Can just use the leaves or add flowers. Use a good rounded tbs of the dried herb (slightly more of the fresh) Pour a mugful of boiling water over it, cover and steep for 15 mins. Strain through muslin or a fine sieve to remove any loose hairs. Drink freely for dry coughs and wet coughs as it helps to expel mucus or an irritation of throat and chest.
Tea can also be used for bronchitis, laryngitis, pleurisy and swollen glands and herpes simplex.
Another recipe to make tea is 2 steeped tsp of dried flowers and leaves in ¼ litre of hot water for 10 mins
When treating pneumonia this plant tones the entire respiratory tract. Anti-inflammatory, soothes and heals irritated tissues and helps to ease coughs.
2 to 3 cups of tea per day (simmer 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried root in ¼ litre of water for 10 mins) or 1/8 to 1 teaspoon of tincture 3 times per day.
Shingles: Used in a compress, a tea made from mullein leaves calms inflammation and soothes irritated skin. Make the tea as above

Mullein flower oil
Pick the flowers on a dry sunny day and lay them on a sheet of paper to dry a little overnight. Put them in a small jar and cover the flowers with extra virgin olive oil. Close the jar with a piece of cloth held on with a rubber band rather than using a lid as this allows any moisture to escape.
Put the jar on a sunny windowsill for 2 weeks. Stir ever day to keep the flowers submerged in the oil. If left exposed the flowers will go mouldy.
When the flowers have faded and become quite transparent the oil is ready to be strained and bottled. Pour through a fine sieve into another jar. Do it slowly and leave the watery layer at the bottom behind. Store in a cool dark place for up to a year.
For earache, put 1 to 3 drops of oil in the affected ear as needed.
The oil can also be used for nerve pain, haemorrhoids and piles, chest rub and chilblains.

Mullein poultice

To make a poultice, lay a few mullein leaves in a dish (for a splinter you’ll only need part of a leaf) and pour a little boiling water on them to soften them. Leave until they are cool enough to handle, then place them on the affected part. The poultice can be held on with a bandage and you can keep it warm by holding a hot water bottle against it.
Good for removing splinters, to draw boils, to soothe an aching back and for any lymphatic swellings. Can also be used to help heal broken bones such as ribs or toes that cannot be set.

Other uses
The down on the leaves and stem makes excellent tinder when dry. Was used for lamp wicks before cotton used.

~Used to drive away evil spirits.
~Toilet paper, baby nappies, insoles for shoes and food wrap
~Helps relieve pain in general
~make a compress, dampen a clean cloth with the cooled tea and apply it to the cold sore as needed.

Through the summer and early fall, the flowers fade, and the fruits appear. These fruits are hard, woody, capsules with five divisions, which open on one end when mature. After the fruits have matured, the plant dies, but the dry, brown, flower stalk persists through the winter, standing out against the snow. At this stage, if you soak the flower heads in tallow or something similar, it's supposed to make a good torch. The leaves, dried and rolled, have been used as lamp wicks. It's also helpful both as tinder for starting your campfire and as a quick burning fuel. If you're still not warm enough, the leaves also make pretty good insulation when placed inside shoes or clothing. From these uses, mullein is also called torches, candlewick plant, and beggar's blanket.

Seeds

Mullein seeds, which are tiny, are reported to be toxic and have been used as a narcotic to stun fish. Animals won't eat mullein, because all those little hairs irritate their mucous membranes, but insects don't mind them.

Mullein also attracts a wide variety of pollinators, including bees, flies, and butterflies.

Time For You Introduces Our New Shiatsu Practitioner,

Carolyn St John Lic.Ac.M.R.S.S.'

Carolyn's treatment draws on her years of experience
and knowledge of Oriental Medicine, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga and Meditation.

Shiatsu is given through loose clothing, normally on a Japanese cotton futon mattress.
sometimes people prefer to be treated on a treatment couch.
treatment is approx 50 mins.

The gentle application of thumb and palm pressure and stretching techniques relieves muscle tension, eases joint stiffness and re-aligns the structure of the body.
Shiatsu helps to correct imbalances in the functioning of the internal organs.
Treatment is deeply relaxing and has an overall calming effect, thus allowing the body's  self-healing process to work more effectively.

Shiatsu is a massage modality that supports and
strengthens the body’s natural ability to heal and balance
itself. It works on the whole person - not just with the
physical body, but also with the psychological, emotional
and spiritual aspects of being.

Shiatsu originated in Japan from traditional Chinese
medicine, with influences from more recent Western
therapies. Although shiatsu means ‘finger pressure’ in
Japanese, in practice a practitioner uses touch,
comfortable pressure and manipulative techniques to
adjust the body’s physical structure and balance its
energy flow. It is a deeply relaxing experience and regular
treatments can alleviate stress and illness and maintain
health and well-being.

Shiatsu has a number of different styles, philosophical
approaches and theoretical bases and practitioners
around the world are still evolving new approaches to
treatment. Some concentrate on acupressure
(acupuncture) points, while others emphasise more
general work on the body or along the pathways of
energy to influence the Ki that flows in them. Other styles
highlight diagnostic systems, such as the Five Element
system or the macrobiotic approach. However all are
based on traditional Chinese medicine

The Magical Kansa Wand Massage

Time for You Holistic practitioners are now incorporating Kansa into facial, body and feet treatments.

From a historical point of view, there is only one Metal Alloy for Healing. in India this is known as Kansa

Kansa was first made in the Bronze Age, which is said to be one of the most innovative
alloys ever created 5000 years ago.
Kansa was also thought to have great therapeutic value and was introduced as a
precious metal in Ayurveda. This traditional healing tool was used for the
Ayurvedic treatments, Kansa Vataki and has been made in India
by artisans for generations.
Today artisans still work with loving care and keen attention to quality and detail,
combining tradition with innovation to produce beautiful body care tools.
The Kansa massage tools can be as simple as a thinly lipped cup to more elaborate
forms made from the purest Kansa, with a rich Gold hue fitted upon a handcrafted
Rosewood handle.
Kansa has therapeutic benefits beyond the common foot application.
For years we witnessed the relaxing and balancing effects of Kansa bowl feet treatments.
According to the accepted theory at the time, Kansa was a tri-doshic metal alloy and
it helped to bring balance to the three doshas or subtle energies of Ayurveda : VATTA, PITTA and KAPHA.
Furthermore, it relaxed the full body, helped detoxify the internal organs and also help in balancing
the body’s innate energy. When rubbing the Kansa wand back and forth along the entire body and feet the oil used will slowly turn grey. This is the Kansa attracting and discharging the negative acidity from the body.
ln lndia many skin treatments have been practiced in Kansa substance to get to any disorders. When it has the property of healing disorders it can rejuvenate the skin naturally.
Time for You Holistic practitioners are now incorporating Kansa into facial, body and feet
treatments. When working with the Kansa Wand on the skin the tissues look fuller,
age lines are dramatically decreased and the face looks brighter and more alive.
To see faces lifted, lines decreased and tissues looking more restored to a youthful vigor and radiance is a surprise. After further researching the Kansa we understood why this happens, simply put Kansa is a fantastic carrier of electricity. Because our bodiesare electromagnetic, Kansa works with our own natural electromagnetism and enhances it and naturally brings more charge and vitality to the face.
According to Eastern traditions we are still in a Bronze Age.

Thus in a time when we seek simplicity and sustainability and continue to practice traditional treatments from around the world it stands to reasons that Kansa is the new
“ancient” kid on the block, for bodywork Kansa massage for face, body, skin and feet offer inexpensive and highly effective new possibilities-

Ayurveda is the oldest healing science in the world.

Derived from its ancient Sanskrit roots -“Ayu” meaning Iife and “veda” meaning wisdom, offering the holistic and natural approach to a healthy life.
The metal Kansa is called the healing metal in Ayurveda.

The Kansa foot massage is an Ayurvedic treatment which has been used for centuries.
This is a wonderful and unique treatment that works holistically to balance mind body and spirit.
The massage helps revitalize tired feet and also to re balance tri-dosha (vata,  pitta, kapha)
as there are major energy and nerve endings in the feet that correspond to internal organs. As it has great importance the Kansa Wand is made from only the finest quality materials.

The benefits of using the Kansa Wand are it Relaxes tired feet, improves blood & lymphatic circulation, Enhances lower limb mobility, restores levels of Prana(energy) and promotes sound sleep.
